What if you assume that you don’t understand another?
Even with years dedicating myself to authentic deep communication,
I still find myself surprised when I learn I don’t really understand someone I think I know well.
If I make the assumption that I don’t understand, it prompts me to
listen deeper, ask more questions and check back to verify.
