What do you know that you do not do?
While some would have us believe knowledge is power, it is not.
Applied knowledge is power.
To make knowledge power become aware of what you know that you do not do,
then deliberately practice and focus on it.
For example,
As I participated in an aikido seminar this past weekend,
It was pointed out to me how I limit my hip movement doing technique.
This makes a huge difference in ease of moving my opponent!
I know this but wasn’t doing it!
The sensei gave us a way to practice accentuating this movement that I can do off the mat.
I am committed to make this part of my daily practice so it becomes natural for me.
What about you, what do you know but do not do?
