What Channel Do You Choose?
Would you blare music that makes you feel anxious or depressed on the radio?
Likely not! As you can easily change the channel.
While being informed is important, so is choice about input.
Are you on the drama and fear channel?
Or, the possibilities and love channel?
What does it take to change the channel?
For me it’s about:
Literally, turning off the news, reading to stay informed has less negative impact for me.
Breathing and meditation practice.
Exercising.
Eating well.
Taking action alligned with my values and stated intentions.
Listening or reading things that help me learn.
How about you? What keeps you on a channel of possibility and love?
Develop Power with Grace.
Asking thoughtful questions is one aspect.
The best questions foster understanding, spark innovation, diffuse negative conflict, and build influence –
Spiral Question poses a question semiweekly, Monday and Wednesday.

I have found over the years the best way for me to be at peace are by doing the following: start my day thanking God for my health, home , friends & family. Meditating on a Scripture verse found in either Our Daily Bread or Today in the Word, walking especially at Pokagon State Park surrounded by nature, asking God to lead me to those less fortunate so I can lend a hand ( it may not be daily) write encouraging notes to those that are grieving or ill, finding new recipies to create, reading & keeping ahead of organizing & purging all of the unnecessary “stuff” that’s been accumulating in my home. I am retired, so I am thankful I have the time to devote to all of the above.
Annie, sounds like a great time to prepare for the promise of a new year too!
