What is true?

This can be a tough question.
There seems to be many varied assertions and opinions expressed on so many platforms.
Sorting to find what is true is like burning off the fog it requires adding light.
Today, I just list someof my thoughts and observations.
Because someone, anyone, says something doesn’t necessarily make it true.
Always read past a headline.
What is true for one isn’t necessarily true for another.
Determine reliable sources for you.
Two or more things can be true even though they seem to contradict each other.
Ask the next open-ended question for clearer understanding, adding light.
The world isn’t black and white.
If it feels off to you, it probably is.
Sometimes the path takes some very unpredictable turns to keep you on your toes.
Pondering…what will you add?

I like these statements Karen and feel that they come from wisdom. I am studying Aikido on Zoom now, with a student of Anno Sensei who was in the direct lineage of O Sensei. We are doing a purification practice twice a week to send out love and blessings to our world. O Sensei told of “polishing the spirit” through Aikido practice and I am seeing that in this time, we have a chance to grow through dealing with collective fear and the pain of loss, and shock. We are invited to come home to center in a deep way. In Aikido it is always to train our attention and our ability to shift…..to find LOVE as the true Budo (or practice.)
