The question behind the question?
I’ve noticed someone may ask me a question, I answer it. Then I ask, what prompted your interest? Only to find out, there was really more to their question.
I am training myself to ask more questions first for a richer answer!

The question, “What are you doing this weekend?” Is a good example. Understanding what the next question is may alter how you answer, as you may end up with tickets to a concert or helping with a move!
